Different costs:the same resources.
We GYAN Mexico as youth organization were invited to the International Seminar on G20 agenda because the Mexican Presidency this year. After this seminar I realized that the market could (and want) assume some costs as the investment on research and development, marketing and so, but when you talk about the external costs as the natural resources as water, land or even social development they -G20 representatives- keep consider it as "external" costs instead internalize the environmental impact into the final prices or into the production costs, so for them is easy to account numbers, money and profit but they have not the capacity to realize how much do we need to keep a forest, to have water and to end with the pollution in the industrialized zones.
My question is: "Does a bottle of water cost less than US$1?" Maybe the bottle but what about the water, it would be interesting to calculate the water cycle, don“t you think?...
