HBSC bank invests in water projects to boost economic development

Bad water supply management, can affect economic growth - states a HBSC research.
According to this research, the ten most dense basins could be responsible for a quarter of the GDP of the world, whereas now this is 10 percent. In 7 out of these 10 areas, water resources are set to come under strain, which is having a negative influence on the potential economic growth.

Based on this research, the HBSC is investing $100 m in water projects to improve lives and booste economic development (see link).
