Welcome to the ‘Equity and Prosperity of Cities’ dialogue

Hello and welcome to the City Changer dialogue on the theme of ‘Equity and the Prosperity of Cities’. We are very excited to be involved in what promises to be a rich and productive debate over the next few weeks. The outputs of this e-debate will form an important contribution to the activities of the 2012 World Urban Forum, to be held in Naples (Italy) in September (view the ‘informational website’ on the dialogue’s homepage to find out more).

Since we wrote the Report of the Prosperity of SANTODOMINGO for ONU-HABITAT we began to consider the possibility of becoming a Prosperous City considering all the findings and through a planning process in the context of our planning institutional system and I think/hope we can learn from others in this debate, because for me as a planner it is the only possibility we have.....
