Physical planning and poverty alleviation

This is my project topic in school and I need responses on how physical planning can be used to reduce the effect of poverty in our cities. Thanks.

Some key areas of intervention and policy development have been emerging within this dialogue, including transportation, land management (i.e. tenure arrangements) and rights based approaches to planning and development. Planning is a key activity that needs to address all of these concerns simultaneously, and equity is an important moral principle that should guide all efforts made to manage public affairs and create cities. So stick around here if you would like to discuss more about the moral foundations of planning!
